Mediation is becoming increasingly valued in the legal profession. By having the support and guidance of an expert mediator, parties in dispute can identify issues, review options and contemplate alternatives, before reaching a mutually acceptable result, while avoiding the cost and stress of litigation.

Our company, Skip The Conflict, was designed with the objective of assisting our clients, through mediation, to avoid wasting time and money on litigation, and focusing on getting a resolution to disputes in a stress-free and affordable manner.

Our staff are made up of Nationally Accredited Mediators and Family Dispute Resolution Practitioners who are highly skilled and qualified to perform mediation services across Australia.

How we can help

With NMAS Qualified Mediators, Skip The Conflict can help you and other parties arrive at the best solution for your issues in the most affordable manner. Through mediation, we cover a range of matters, from employment, to commercial to contractual disputes, family law, property settlement, separation, same-sex relationships, and much more.

Our Family Dispute Resolution (FDR) Practitioners can help people who are separated or going through a divorce with their parenting disputes. We can assess families for family violence, child abuse and other family issues and assist with a resolution of such cases.

Disputes We Can Help With

Family Disputes

Our Family Dispute Resolution Practitioners use creative problem-solving skills to remedy disputes involving parenting, child support, separation and divorce. Along with the out-of-court nature of these processes, Skip the Conflict provides innovative and empathetic solutions to help all parties reach a respectful agreement.

Australian family law requires separated parents to try Family Dispute Resolution before requesting parenting orders from a family law court.

Employment Matters

Everyone deserves a peaceful employment experience, but when conflicts occur, our Nationally Accredited Mediators are available to assist in quelling the situation in a confidential manner before issues can escalate further.

Civil Disputes

When legal conflicts arise, our mediators listen carefully to all parties involved. After taking all concerns into consideration, Skip The Conflict works alongside all parties to offer a number of potential solutions to prevent escalating it to court.

Contractual Disputes

Fair contracts are necessary for a healthy work environment and equates to less stress in the long run for both employee and employer. However, disagreements do happen! Skip The Conflict’s expert mediators provide solutions that work alongside the parties involved, and allow for a fair negotiation.

Commercial Disputes

Commercial disputes may range from issues such as contract violations to intellectual property infringement – both of which may initially call for costly legal action. Before escalating it to court immediately, our affordable mediation team can aid in saving costly court fees and help reach a fair settlement where all parties are content.

Personal Injury

When accidents result in personal injury, victims may be compelled to take perpetrators straight to court, which may result in unfavorable outcomes and alarming costs. To avoid this, it is important to employ a skilled mediator to see if a fair settlement is negotiable, bypassing court completely. Skip The Conflict’s NMAS certified team is happy to assist and offer their expertise so that everyone walks away from the settlement satisfied.
